Everyone at MacIntyre is excited about being involved in Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival. The support of the event sponsors, Easycopiers, and the generosity of the teams taking part will help us to expand the work we do in providing creative ways that enable people with learning disabilities to take control of their lives.
As a charity dedicated to providing the widest range of learning, support and care services to over a thousand children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, we are committed to offering personalised solutions that encourage independence for each person, whatever their level of disability.
Any money raised for MacIntyre will be used to support local people with learning disabilities, encouraging them to find innovative ways to express themselves using a variety of means, including film, music and new media. Projects like these are essential in supporting disabled people to have the confidence to talk about the things that matter most to them.
