Volunteering

MacIntyre need dedicated volunteers like you to help deliver important services for the people we support with Learning Disabilities.

There are lots of different ways you can get involved and we have volunteering activities to suit everyone - whatever your age‚ skill and background.

Would you like to give something back, have fun, make new friends and gain new skills?

Volunteers can play an important role in helping people with learning disabilities to participate in activities in the community which they may otherwise be unable to enjoy.

Volunteers are people who work alongside paid staff.

Volunteers have an important contribution to make to the future success of MacIntyre. MacIntyre offers volunteers the following:

  • We support volunteers and the people we work with to benefit from the activities they are involved in.
  • We offer a structured process of recruiting and preparing volunteers.
  • We safeguard the interests of all parties where voluntary involvement takes place.

As well as helping other people, volunteering can give you a great personal reward.

If you can spare some of your time and experience to support our work please contact our Recruitment Team by emailing jobs@macintyrecharity.org or call us on 01908 230100.
