Reps on Board
Reps on Board is a learning and development project based in Derbyshire, that started in July 2007 and is funded jointly between MacIntyre and Derbyshire County Council.
Within Derbyshire, people with a learning disability are given the opportunity to vote for the 'Elected Reps' that they wish to represent them at Partnership Boards, as well as other meeting that look at services for people with learning disabilities within the county.
The Reps on Board project aims to assist the elected reps in completing their duties to the best of their abilities.
At present Reps Development Group meetings take place every month and all reps have completed the Reps on Board 'Getting on Board' course.
In addition the group have also produced the 'Top Tips for even better Partnership Board meetings' toolkit.
