At MacIntyre, we encourage the people with learning disabilities to take increasing control of their own lives. We also promise to keep them safe and healthy. We help them achieve a balance of these aims by doing risk assessments and a whole host of health & safety management techniques.
Of equal importance, is the health and safety of our staff. Without their dedication and commitment, we would not be able to support people with learning disabilities.
Good Practice
MacIntyre employ a full-time Health & Safety Manager to give on-hand advice and we give all our managers and support staff extensive health & safety training. We have created a unique Health & Safety Management Manual and CD-ROM which provides staff with all the necessary information to run their service.
What's New?...
MacIntyre is very proud to be the first charity to achieve certification by BSI for compliance with OHSAS 18001.
