Ralphie Hooker (Simon Tidd) 

Status: Has a girlfriend called Kylie Saunders, they have been together since they met at college 10 years ago, very much in love. 
Interests:  Collects  trains  and  likes  musicals. 
History: Jake is his childhood  friend and they were in  the  failed  pop  group “Blam” together.  Ralphie now works with in Jake in the Garden Shop.

 PC Steve Marshall (Ian Forrest)

Status: Single, has a long term girlfriend but still likes to play the field.
Interests: Motorbikes and Stadium rock.
History: Went from school to Police School at 16.  Loved it and has been doing it ever since.  Has a difficult relationship with brother because they are opposites.

 Derek Nosebleed (Jo Stewart)

Status:  Single with a different girl every week.
Interests: Music and drinking.
History: Derek was chucked out of a youth authority home 6 months ago. He was arrested for stealing cars and graffiti. Not grateful for Steve taking him in. In a band with his friend Harry Headbutt and Chubby Blood.

 Jake Summers (Iain Smith)

Status: Married to Sarah Summers when he was 25 years old.
Interest: Pop music and singing.
History: Failed pop star turned club singer.  Met Sarah in a club she fell in love with him when he sang “Sealed with a kiss”, been together ever since.  Inherited the garden shop from his dad with his childhood friend Ralphie Hooker.

 Kimberley Summers (Nicola Franklin)

Status: Married to Major Montgomery and for years it has been a loveless relationship.
Interests: Spending Major’s money, being pampered, upsetting people.
History: Jealous of her brother who was always Daddy’s favourite (in her own mind). Still very bitter that Jack got the garden shop.

 Major Charlie Montgomery (Simon Allen)

Status: Married to Kimberley, despises her but stays with her.
Interests: Horses and antiques.
History: Met the 18 year old Kimberley in a casino. She appeared at his shoulder when he was winning lots of money and has been with him ever since.

 Sarah Summers (Sui-Ling Tang)

Status: Married to Jake, adores him. They are soul mates.
Interests: Fashion, hair and pop music.
History: Met Jake in a club and they’ve been together since. Turned down Victor’s marriage proposal. Very loyal worker.

 WPC Diana Magnolia (Mary Hughes)

Status: Single and happy.
Interests: Music and dancing.
History: Came out of school to be a police woman and has been doing it ever since. Lives with Ralphie as his flat-mate. New to the area.

 Victor Harkness (Paul Payne)

Status:  Very single,  owner of small business.
Interests: History Channel, tattoos, climbing the ladder.
History: Hates Jake Summers because Sarah was the love of his life and Jake stole her. Dedicates his life to ruining Jakes.
