At MacIntyre we continuously explore ideas in order to recognise and reward our staff. As well as competitive pay, job satisfaction and sector leading development and training opportunities you will also benefit from:
Enhanced Annual Leave
The Statutory requirement for a full-time employee in the UK is 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays. At MacIntyre we like to reward our staff with enhanced holiday which starts at 25 days + public holidays making a total of 33 days. Plus, you receive an increase of a day for ever year completed as at the 1 January up to 38 days including Bank Holidays.
Looking after your health and wellbeing
Work can have a positive impact on your health and wellbeing, however when you do suffer from illness or injuries we have a number of initiatives in place to support you and your family:
- Sick Leave
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- Occupational Health & Rehabilitation Service
We provide a generous company sick pay benefit in order to support you during ill health.
We offer access to a confidential support service for all employees and their immediate family members, which includes counselling and advice on issues such as stress, health, relationships, debt and family matters.
To support your health and wellbeing MacIntyre work with an independent organisation to support you with your health needs and rehabilitation.
Staff Savings Scheme
Our Savings Scheme allows all staff to save for a fixed period in order to assist with their own financial wellbeing.
Recommend a Friend
In order to thank our employees who successfully recommend a friend to come and work at MacIntyre we reward them with High Street Vouchers.
The learning journey begins at MacIntyre with a comprehensive induction programme that is tailor made to suit your needs and the environment in which you work. MacIntyre believes it is important to invest in our staff’s continual professional development and therefore provides all employees with ongoing flexible learning and vocational training opportunities, membership to special interest groups and access to learning resources that will support you with professional and career development.
At MacIntyre, many of our senior managers have progressed within the organisation from Support Workers. As a key member of the MacIntyre team, you will have open access to all development and career progression opportunities where your skills and potential are recognised, rewarded and highly valued.
Family Friendly Policies
As a family oriented organisation, we offer flexible working arrangements whenever practicable. Please do not hesitate to speak to your Recruiting Officer, or the Recruitment team, about flexible working arrangements.
Recognising Exceptional Performance
Our employees provide outstanding support, care and education on a daily basis. We are therefore very proud to recognise, reward and celebrate the great achievements of our great workforce. We do this through a range of award programmes including the annual Marjorie Newton Wright Awards.
Death in Service
Whilst no one likes to think about passing away, it is reassuring to know that MacIntyre will pay a tax-free sum of money (twice your salary) to your chosen beneficiaries.
Saving for retirement is essential if you want the financial freedom to enjoy your later years. MacIntyre supports you by contributing to your pension scheme through Black Rock Pension.
Long Service Awards
In order to recognise your commitment to MacIntyre and the people we support, we reward our staff for their continuous length of service.
