Haddon Beats Impress Judges
Date: 06 Jul 2009
Last Sunday more than 150 hopefuls flocked to Milton Keynes Theatre to showcase their talents in the first stage of MK’s Top Talent - the regions biggest talent search, which is offering one lucky act the chance to win a paid professional contract for this years pantomime- Cinderella.
Each act had just two minutes to impress the judges including Cinderella herself - West End leading lady Louise Dearman, Panto producer Kevin Wood and Editor of MK NEWS, David Gale.
In attendance were Great Holm rising stars, Haddon Beats. Comprising of learners from the project and supported by Learning Support Worker Paul Payne, the group had no trouble turning heads and pleasing ears with their tunes.
After many hours of auditions the judges announced that Haddon Beats would be progressing through to the second stage of the competition.
All the successful auditonees have been invited back for final auditions on 19 July in a bid to be picked as one of the final 40 acts to take part in the heats in September and we're quite sure that Haddon Beats will continue to impress.
