Leicester get on their bikes!

On 3 May 2009 a group of people from a MacIntyre service in Leicester organised a sponsored bike ride at Rutland Water Nature Reserve. Over 30 people took part in the event including staff, family and friends and the people who use the service itself.
The day was a roaring success with several people completing the 25 mile course and many others completing a shorter route.
We would like to congratulate all those who took part and to thank everyone that sponsored them and helped raise over £1,200 which the service plan to use to give their gardens a little TLC. They have recently started to take a keen interest in growing vegetables and the money raised will help them to put in raised vegetable patches and ensure a healthy harvest for next year!
