Warrington Learning Centre do it themselves!

The MacIntyre Learning Centre in Warrington recently celebrated the completion of their magnificent Healing Garden. The garden became a reality when the gardeners won a £5,000 prize from B&Q's One Planet Awards 2009.
Creating the garden from derelict land has provided the opportunity for people with and without disabilities to work together, learn new skills and build friendships.
In addition to the learners and staff teams hard work, the local B&Q staff volunteered many hours to assist in the completion of the project.
The Centre are now looking forward to putting in many different and exotic plants to not only enhance the atmosphere of the garden with perfume, taste, touch and sounds but to also create a calm and tranquil environment.
