It’s all go at MacIntyre as 28 competitors prepare for the Annual London 10K Run.

Included in this years lineup is Womaston student Kai Youlden. Having trained extensively with staff members from the school, preparations are currently getting under way to make the journey to the run and plan activities that the Womaston contingent can undertake during their stay in the capital.

Whilst looking for donations/sponsorship from local businesses, the school contacted various places in London for quotations on how much it would cost for their stay the night before the run. Upon contacting the nearest YHA to make an enquiry they were very kindly offered free accommodation for their stay. On behalf of the school we would like to extend many thanks to Adrian Lamb – Manager at Holland Park YHA for their very generous offer and show of support.
