MacIntyre No Limits provides a bespoke educational package in partnership with Local Colleges. Where accommodation away from the family home is required, we use a supported living model to create person centred solutions.
The independent living curriculum is delivered in the person’s own town; the place where they will live as adults and where they can best apply what they learn. A young person’s programme may include a wide range of elements, using mainstream and specialist facilities as vehicles for the opportunities to learn and participate.
The service blends a high quality, flexible educational programme with skilled support from specifically trained teams for young people and their families, delivered in a way that suits the individual.
- works with young people and their families to provide a bespoke, inclusive, education solution
- enables young people with learning disabilities to access the services they need locally
- creates fully flexible, personalised solutions ranging from a few hours a week to 24/7 support and accommodation
Most of all, by giving a greater number of young people the opportunity to live, learn and work locally, MacIntyre’s No Limits programme provides a broader range of pathways for young people moving into their adult lives.
MacIntyre No Limits is delivered in partnership with a number of further education colleges and funded by the European Social Fund.
