About the Dying to Talk Project
MacIntyre’s Dying to Talk Pilot Project is supporting people with a learning disability to talk about death and dying and plan for the future.
If you are a person with a learning disability
We want to work with you to help you understand more about what happens when someone dies, and support you to think about what your wishes are for your own death. We will make this webinar as relaxing and fun as possible, and include games and easy read resources.
By coming together with friends, we hope to make the topic of death and dying as comfortable as possible and will ensure you are supported at all times.
We know death and dying is a sensitive subject, and we will be constantly monitoring to check that everyone on the webinar is ok, and offer breakout rooms for 1-1 support as needed.
Join us just to observe and/or participate! You will be free to leave/re-join if you need to. Everyone is welcome.
