This event is open to anyone who is thinking they need to make a plan for the future, for yourself or someone who receives care and support.

About Dying to Talk

Many people with a learning disability are not spoken to when it comes to end of life care, dying and making decisions regarding their death.

This free event will allow you to talk to professionals around topics such as wills, power of attorney, funeral planning, and have the opportunity to pose questions to some of MacIntyre's Best Practice teams including the Dying to Talk team.

Why attend

  • listen to our guest speakers: the local hospice, funeral director, solicitor
  • take part in workshops and visit the market place
  • learn about external resources such as Books Beyond Words and No Barriers Here
  • speak to other families and learn from their experience

RSVP

So that we are prepared for the right number of people please fill in the form to let us know you are planning to attend.
