Online meeting

Feel you need to make a plan for the future but don’t know how to start? Want a chance to talk to other family members who MacIntyre support and have the opportunity to learn more about planning for the future? Our workshop is just for you.

About Dying to Talk

Many people with a learning disability are not spoken to when it comes to end of life care, dying and making decisions regarding their death.

Our ‘Dying to Talk’ project allows us to help people we support, their families and MacIntyre staff feel less frightened to hear and talk about death and dying.

Our workshop will introduce you to resources and lessons of how to have those difficult conversations.

Who this event is for

This event is open to families of the people we support, as well as people we support and their support teams.

About your hosts

The workshop will be facilitated by our Dying to Talk project team as well as Beth Britton: content creator, consultant, trainer and mentor, campaigner and speaker specialising in issues affecting older people, health and social care and specifically dementia.
