MacIntyre Academies
Part of MacIntyre’s purpose is to make a positive contribution to the lives of children in need of support.
We know that gaining independence and moving into their own home is very important to the young people we support on their transition to adulthood.
Our Supported Living provision works closely with the young people involved, families, education providers, housing providers and other stakeholders to offer a wide range of flexible, innovative and person-centred support options.
Living independently or with a small group is a fantastic way to put the skills gained through education into practice. For many of the people we support through our Further Education provision, Supported Living allows them to take another step towards adulthood by moving out the family home and taking control of their own lives.
The project's final report showed how we helped people we support, their families and MacIntyre staff to understand how to talk about death and dying.
Playing the MacIntyre Lottery is an ideal way to show your support - and give you the chance to win £500!
We're happy to share our 'Employees of the Month' for February. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate.
Nicole is a young woman who loves to have fun, to dance, to play. There was a time in Nicole’s* life when she could do none of these things.
