As part of our Golden Jubilee celebrations we have been working with award-winning photographer, Polly Braden, who has visited a range of our services to document the work of MacIntyre people. She has captured the daily lives of and interactions between our staff and people we support. An exhibition of this work was held at the National Media Museum in Bradford in the spring.
We are now organising two of our own exhibitions, the first of which will be held in Warrington. You can visit the exhibition at MacIntyre’s “Best of Northern Art” Gallery from Monday 5 to Thursday 15 September. The address and Gallery opening times can be found at the bottom of the page. A second event in Milton Keynes will be coming soon.
The book supporting the exhibition “Great Interactions, Life with Learning Disabilities and Autism” is on sale from the publisher, Dewi Lewis. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to MacIntyre.
