Two more of our services have recently been rated ‘Good’ by CQC following recent inspections.
Milton Keynes Support in Great Holm is registered to provide personal care to people with learning and physical difficulties in their own homes when they are unable to manage their own care. Following the inspection in August 2017, the report said:
“People had support plans that were personalised to their individual needs and wishes. People were actively involved in decisions about their care and support needs. People had developed positive relationships with staff and staff understood people’s needs and preferences.”
Additionally, Coriander Road in Leicester is registered to provide accommodation and personal care for up to four people with learning disabilities. The report following the unannounced inspection applauded our staff, saying:
“Staff had a clear understanding of their role and how to support people who used the service as individuals. Staff knew people well and treated them with kindness and compassion. People’s dignity was maintained and promoted. People’s independence was promoted. Staff communicated with people in a way that maximized their understanding and aided them to make choices.”
