We are pleased to announce that Wolfie, the well-known mascot from the Warrington Wolves, will be joining our Community Memory Café on 25th November 2016 in Fairfield and Howley Community Centre.
The MacIntyre Community Memory Café is a fun, safe, welcoming and relaxing place for people to take part in social activities, make new friends and enjoy fantastic cake and endless cups of tea and coffee. The Café is open to everyone; people living with dementia, those caring for someone that is, friends, families, and those that are just curious to find out more.
Fay Walker, Administrator and Co-Founder of the MacIntyre Community Memory Café in Warrington, says, “We are extremely excited to welcome Wolfie to the Memory Café this month. The Warrington Wolves have been really involved in our Memory Cafés and it’s been great to see the Club share their history and memories. We invite anyone, whether they are living with dementia or not, to come along to this friendly and inviting setting and meet Wolfie.”
The Community Memory Café in Warrington this month will also be Christmas themed, with a Christmas song sing-along and other festive activities to take part in.
The Community Memory Café is open between 2pm and 4pm on every last Friday of the month. You can find the Memory Café in The Old School Dining Room, Fairfield and Howley Community Centre, Warrington, WA1 3AJ.
