Do you want to share your poem about dementia or disabilities? If so, then now is your chance for it to be included in a book!
You may have already heard of Jo Allmond and Jess Hiles, co-authors of the amazing book Jess the Goth Fairy.
For their next adventure, Jo and Jess are seeking poems about dementia and disabilities, which will be collated into a book to raise awareness of dementia, mental health and learning disabilities.
Whether you’re someone living with a disability or dementia, or a carer, family member, or someone who has had their life affected by dementia in some way; whether you have already written a poem, or fancy giving it ago, Jo and Jess want to hear from you!
Poems can also be anonymous if the author would prefer, and group poems are more than welcome.
If you have a poem to share or if you would like to find out more about Jess the Goth Fairy or the book, email firstname.lastname@example.org. They are looking to receive poems by the end of January 2017. You can also follow the adventures of Jess the Goth Fairy on Facebook and keep up to date on Twitter!
