On 29 April Ian Herbert took on the incredible Church Hill Challenge Ride, in what he described as his toughest ride yet! The challenge started and finished near Chester, and included the dreaded Horse Shoe Pass, one of the steepest climbs at 1,348 feet.
Ian completed an incredible 74.9 miles in 6 hours. After months of training and hard work he raised a fantastic £374 for MacIntyre at Woodland Road in Cheshire, where his sister is supported. The money raised will go towards purchasing bird feeders, vegetable, fruit and herb plants for the house’s on-going sensory garden project.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Ian for completing the Church Hill Challenge and for raising money for Woodland Road; his dedication and commitment is inspirational.
