Inspirational Leader

17 July 2019
News

What does it take to inspire the people around you? For the winner of our Inspirational Leader: Adult Services Award at the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards 2019, it is about going above and beyond for the people she supports.

Winner - Sadie Scott, Area Manager, Milton Keynes

Sadie has led a number of practice initiatives in the Milton Keynes area with a particular focus on end of life care. Her drive in this area comes from the need to provide the very best care and support to the people living in Milton Keynes who are becoming increasingly frail.

Sadie has given many years of her life to MacIntyre and is someone who always goes above and beyond.

One of Sadie's nominations said:

"I have witnessed countless examples of Sadie showing exceptional commitment and dedication to the people we support and staff. Sadie covers a large area, but makes time for everyone. Staff and people we support alike know that her door is always open."
