Between 25 June and 20 July Jurys Inn, Milton Keynes have been doing all sorts to raise money for MacIntyre and we could not be more grateful. Included in their fundraising efforts was an 8-mile walk or cycle around Willen Lake; the team set off on a sunny morning on Friday 20 July after having raised sponsorship for the event.
In addition to this Jurys Inn have been trying their hand at baking in a competitive staff bake-off. MacIntyre were the judges of the event and it was a tough decision to crown the winner before everyone tucked into a lovely slice of ice lolly cake (best presentation), raspberry flan (best taste), and the star baker’s strawberry Victoria sponge, not forgetting all the other fabulous entries. Donations were made at £1 for a slice.
The Jurys Inn team have also had an exercise bike in the entrance to the hotel and have been pedalling away for donations all the meanwhile raising awareness for MacIntyre. The grand total of Jurys Inn, Milton Keynes fundraising is over £290.
