Sensational Sensory Garden

9 July 2019
News

Recently, staff and people we support from The Cherries in Flackwell Heath worked alongside a team from Cobham, who donned the title 'Cobham Community Heroes' to develop a sensational sensory garden.

The garden, which was developed in just three hours, now features beautiful plants, a water feature and a bench thanks to the team at Cobham and MacIntyre's Staff Council Fund.

Caroline, Frontline Manager at The Cherries said:

"Cobham are a local company who have been working with us to develop a sensory area in the garden."

Speaking about the people we support, she added:

"Kevin and Mark had great fun with the team, helping them paint and plant whilst Phillip helped make the tea for their break, was lovely seeing everyone getting involved and being a part of this project."

Thank you to Cobham for all of their support and to Wyevale Garden Centre in Marlow (now trading as Dobbies) for donating a selection of plants and herbs to the garden.
