The Kindness Project

30 May 2022
News

Inspired by The Kindness Rocks Project, MacIntyre have decided to help bring our local community together and spread a little love, happiness and fun. We have teamed up with Love Rocks MK to help share stories of kindness and inspiring messages to make a positive impact on all of our lives. All you have to do is leave a message on a painted rocks/pebbles (labels will be provided by MacIntyre).

There is no need to be artistic, the rocks just need to bright and colourful. If you do not want to paint a rock, you may be interested in distributing them around the local area instead.

You can choose to decorate the rocks in any way you wish; patterns, images or words. Once finished and dry, place one of the supplied stickers on the back of the rock (the whole rock is varnished to ensure it is weather proof). Once the rock has been completed, it can then be placed in a location waiting to be found. Please ensure that the hidden rocks are photographed in their new location and posted to the Love Rocks-MK Facebook page tagging Macintyre Community Connector Pippa Bruckland.

The labels that we will be supplying provide three options:

Collect and treat: This tells the finder of the rock to take it to its nearest MacIntyre location (MacIntyre Coffee shops in Great Holm and Stony Stratford or our Milton Keynes central office) to receive a free treat.

Share on socials: This tells the finder to connect to our Instagram and Twitter by posting a photo of themselves with the rock to our social media and tagging us @meetmacintyre or via the Love Rocks-MK Facebook page.

Newsletter: This tells the finder of the rock to email [javascript protected email address] and ask to receive a newsletter about the work of MacIntyre in their area.

If you need any guidance or support just contact your Community Connector:
