On 9 October, over 100 people attended the ‘Celebrate Chesterfield’ event, coming together to hold raffles, presentations, alongside a grand buffet, all of which was enjoyed by people supported by MacIntyre.
The most popular attraction by far was the horse-drawn carriage, organised by The Ostler Carriage Company. In celebration of Go Purple Week, the carriage was decorated with purple plumes and white feathers.
Michelle Wilkinson, a Frontline Manager at MacIntyre said:
“So many people were laughing smiling and having a great time. All of our learners, parents, carers and families enjoyed the horse-drawn carriage. It gave people we support a chance to try a brand new experience and it was great for Chesterfield to come together to show what we can offer and achieve.”
