Monday 20 May to Sunday 26 May is Dementia Action Week 2019 and to kick start the week, we are thrilled to share that Memories and Miles will be back for another year.
Last year, we launched our first Memories and Miles walks to celebrate loved ones with dementia and raise money for our growing number of Memory Cafés. Over 400 of you took part in zany Zumba warm-ups, posed with a life-size cut out of Usain Bolt and took on our fully accessible one-mile walks to support people living with dementia and their families.
As a result of your kindness and support, our Memory Cafés have continued to provide a safe space that encourages inclusion and provides essential support for people living with dementia.
