UK Dementia Congress 2017

5 July 2017
News

We are excited to announce that MacIntyre is a partner of this year’s UK Dementia Congress, the UK’s largest dementia focused event.

Now in its 12th year, the UK Dementia Congress will take place on 7-9 November at Doncaster Racecourse. Organised by the Journal of Dementia Care, each year the event offers a mix of innovative sessions, debates and workshops focusing on the challenges in the sector, proving to be an excellent forum for professionals, experts and people living with dementia to learn, network and share ideas.

This year, on 9 November, MacIntyre will host dedicated sessions addressing the specific challenges in the learning disability sector, focusing on:

  • Ageing in place
  • The impact of dementia on relationships
  • Getting a timely diagnosis

More details on each session and information about speakers and panellists will be revealed in the coming weeks.
