We have some fantastic employees at MacIntyre and every month one person from each division is chosen to be our Employee of the Month.
Below are the names of the winners in the categories of MacIntyre Adult Services, Children and Young People, MacIntyre No Limits™, and Specialist Support Services, together with an extract from their nominations.
Robin Barnes: Adult Services, Bedfordshire
Robin has been raising money for people who draw on our support to be able to have a karaoke night in the area. Robin did a sponsored walk from our furthest location in the area then walking to all the MacIntyre locations in-between, with some of the people we support joining in along the way. Robin has raised over £600 so far. Thank you Robin
Thea Lewis: Children and Young People, Bedfordshire
Thea has taken on board the manager's 'silly ideas' (his words!) about making a scarecrow and bringing it to life, in a very small timeframe. Also for embracing her role as link-worker for one of the young people and making their birthday celebrations so memorable. Thea has also taken on the task of activity coordinator and is always keen to identify new and varied activities for all young people to participate in.
Isabel Nugent: No Limits, Bedfordshire
I am a new member of staff, and Isabel has shown me the MacIntyre spirit all the way through my training. She demonstrated to me what, how, and why to present my role in my daily work in a very detail oriented way. I appreciate that I have absorbed a lot from her.
Anita Taylor: Specialist Support Services
Anita stepped in to help me at the last minute when something had gone wrong, and she worked to a very short timeframe. This is only one example of how Anita works tirelessly with colleagues and people who draw on our support. She is always supportive and cheerful, creative and engaging. Her enthusiasm for what we do shines through in everything - she truly embodies our DNA. Thank you Anita.
