Tough Mudder for MacIntyre

A team from the Woodland Nursery were not afraid to get their hands dirty to support MacIntyre, taking on a 5K obstacle course known as the Tough Mudder, raising over £900 for MacIntyre.

The team said:

"We loved the idea of being able to support a smaller charity that had a personal connection to the nursery. It turned out to be a really fun day and was a great bonding experience.

It's all about helping each other overcome a series of difficult mental and physical challenges and even though it wasn't easy, you come out at the end feeling elated, albeit rather muddy!"

London Landmarks Half Marathon

Nothing says 'Go Purple' like donning a purple MacIntyre tee and running across the capital city. A team of six people took part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon in August, raising over £2,000 for MacIntyre.

Irina, one of the runners said:

“I really enjoyed it. It was such a great day, a good atmosphere and I crossed the finish line smiling. Thank you for this opportunity and we hope the money raised will help a little to support all those in need.”

Thank you to Irina, Emma, Dan, Megan, Kevin and Harry.

London Marathon

Earlier this month, Paul and Emma took part in the London Marathon after being inspired by their friend. Thanks to their fantastic efforts, running an incredible 26.2 miles, Paul and Emma surpassed their initial target of £2,000, raising over £6,000 for MacIntyre.

Thank you to Paul and Emma for this achievement.
