MacIntyre in Wrexham 10th Anniversary
The teams in Wrexham recently celebrated ten years of working in the town.
Our Registered Care homes across the country support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Each of our inclusive homes is unique and the support we provide is person-centred, with each individual’s needs, views and preferences shaping how their support is delivered.
Our skilled staff work closely with families along every step of the journey, from transition, through to involvement in all decisions about the person’s health, care and support that need to be made. We encourage the people we support to develop and maintain relationships with family members and provide lots of opportunities for family members to be involved and influence the support we provide, such as the recruitment of staff and assessment and reviews. We support people to develop relationships, increase independence and become active citizens within their local community.
Health needs, no matter how complex, are always put at the forefront of the care and support our skilled staff team provides . We actively monitor for changes to health conditions, support people to attend health appointments and encourage healthy lifestyles to be maintained.
93% of our services registered with the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales (the independent regulators of all health and social care services in England and Wales) have been rated as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’. Find out more about the CQC ratings for each of our Registered Care services.
