Cleaning up the community

25 September 2019
News

At MacIntyre, we believe the people we support have so much to offer their local communities; no one quite like Keith from Warrington. As a finalist in the 'Dimensions Learning Disability and Autism Leader's List 2019' in the 'Local Communities' category, Keith has not only been changing the landscape around him but increasing his confidence too.

Taking his job of litter picking with the Salvation Army seriously, Keith is truly proud to be making a difference. With Keith's keen eye, not a bit of rubbish goes unnoticed and as a result, his confidence has skyrocketed.

Despite being naturally shy, since taking part in cleaning up Warrington, Keith has developed new-found friendships and is delighted to hear positive feedback from the people he meets.
