In 2017, we launched our innovative Great Communities Project in partnership with Community Catalysts in Warrington. With this project we aim to make people think differently about care and community and discover the skills, gifts, and knowledge of people with learning disabilities in Warrington.
When we first met Kelly last year, we discovered that she would like friendships like other people her age. With help from MacIntyre’s Great Communities Project, Kelly was able grow in confidence, develop lasting friendships and help set up our Great Communities Friendship Group.
