World Cup wonder at Wingrave

11 July 2018
News

At MacIntyre School, each child and young person has the chance to develop independent skills and celebrate creative thinking.

To celebrate England’s historic entry into the 2018 World Cup Semi Final, a student at MacIntyre School in Wingrave has been building upon his creative skills. Each week in during their art class, students are encouraged to learn about current topics and express what they have learned through various artistic mediums. Inspired by the game, Joshua chose to create his very own colourful football.

Joshua's teacher, Annie Noel said:

"This week's topic was the World Cup and students were learning about different flags and were using different techniques to represent their favourite colours and countries. Joshua chose to use colouring pencils over paint to complete his piece. He showed creativity and understanding of the game by adding grass to the bottom of the drawing. Well Done, Joshua."
