Five people call Saxon Close home. There are three women and two men, aged between their 50s and 70s, with one spare room in the six-bedroom house.

Mornings tend to start in a familiar way. Everyone gets up, has a shower and breakfast, then gets on with their day. From there, everyone has their own routine, with plenty of opportunities to get out and about, spend time together or enjoy a quieter day at home.

Shopping trips, cinema visits, bowling and karaoke are all part of the mix. People enjoy going out together, whether that's for lunch, a drink or a trip somewhere further afield. The seaside is a particular favourite, and holidays are always something to look forward to. One housemate recently went to Benidorm, while Brighton is another popular destination.

At home, people often eat together and enjoy helping out in the garden. There's a large garden and summer house, giving everyone somewhere to sit outside when the weather is good. The adapted vehicle also means there are plenty of options when someone fancies going somewhere a little further away.

A little more about everyone:

William is the youngest person at Saxon Close and loves being out and about. He's very active and enjoys bowling, going for walks and spending time at the pub. He has his own snooker cue and plays regularly. He's also usually one of the first to help around the house or get involved in the garden. When he's not out with his brother, he might join everyone for karaoke. William sees his family regularly and is also looking for ways to get involved locally and try some volunteering.

Debbie loves music and singing and seems to know every tune, even when she doesn't know quite all the words. She enjoys colouring books, films and listening to music at home, as well as having some quiet time to herself. She loves a party, a dance and a glass of wine. Her family often pop in to see her too.

Laurence is very chatty and incredibly knowledgeable, with plenty to say when there's something that catches his interest. He likes his routines but also enjoys getting out and about, particularly trips to the zoo. He loves the social side of going out, whether that's having a drink or sitting down for a meal together, and is known for being incredibly welcoming and looking out for the other people in the house.

Kate likes getting involved as much as she can. She enjoys puzzles and going out for a drive, especially when it ends with lunch or dinner somewhere nice. She may be quieter than she once was, but still enjoys being part of what's going on around the house.

Dora is chatty and caring, while also enjoying having her own space. She likes her creature comforts and is just as happy spending time at home as she is going out. Even when she goes to Lifelong Learning, she enjoys having some time to herself.

There's always something to look forward to at Saxon Close. A trip to the seaside, a game of bowling, an afternoon in the garden, karaoke with friends or a meal out together. Some days are busy, some are quieter, and everyone has their own way of making the most of them.
