The gift of Great Interactions™
Every year, MacIntyre celebrates the Marjorie Newton Wright Awards, named after one of our founders. These staff awards go to individuals and teams who exemplify the values set out in MacIntyre's DNA.
In 2023, the award for Outstanding Team was won by the team at Morrell Road, in Manchester. Their nomination picked up the way in which they've focused on improving every interaction with the person they support, each other, and his family. This is part of what their nomination said:
After a year with many changes, the team have shown real commitment and care and a focus on really great interactions. They keep trying new ideas to improve life for the person living at Morrell Road, preparing and planning everything so that this year the person could go on holiday. The team are dedicated, resilient and work well with family to ensure everyone is informed and working together.
