Autism Awareness Day in Warrington

3 April 2018
News

Last week was a celebration of Autism and each person’s unique gifts, talents and aspirations. Autism Awareness Week saw people across the world come together to raise awareness of autism, with autism-friendly events and educational activities taking place to increase understanding and acceptance.

On Thursday, staff and the people we support came together in Warrington to host their annual event to celebrate World Autism Awareness Week. Featuring craft activities, face painting, games, fancy dress, information stalls, hand massage and cakes, it was a great day with lots of people within the community joining to raise awareness of autism.
