We are expanding our provision of exceptional therapeutic support for children and young people together with providing an enhanced career pathway for our Support Workers.
By joining the Health and Therapy Team, you will be part of a group of specialists who support all staff and work with families and other professionals to create a co-ordinated and consistent programme of support. The consistent approach enables children and young people to learn throughout the waking day in all settings. This is achieved through person centred planning, assessment of the child or young person’s health and therapy need, recommendations and/or intervention, Professional Learning Programme for staff, and coaching and mentoring for staff by the experienced Health and Therapy staff team.
Our new roles include:
Head of Therapy who will lead the work of our therapy team supporting children and young people who are autistic or have learning disabilities and complex needs.
Speech and Language Therapist who will focus on supporting the creation of a therapeutic, total communication environment around each young person.
Therapeutic Support Worker which offers staff a continuing professional development pathway, enabling you to deepen your knowledge of the young people you support, and develop an understanding of a range of different therapeutic approaches.
