Launch of the Great Communities Project

9 April 2018
News

You are invited to the interactive launch of the Great Communities Project in Warrington!

Great Communities is a joint partnership project between MacIntyre and Community Catalysts. The project aims to engage with people who have a learning disability and/or autism and who are primarily not accessing services. It is open to people aged 16 and over.

We want to find ways to help people use their own knowledge and gifts to enhance their futures and enrich people’s lives by helping them to raise their aspirations, recognise their gifts and talents and enable people to engage fully in their local community.

In the last few months, the project team has been undertaking a mapping exercise to uncover all existing support and services in Warrington. The launch event will present the findings and encourage partnerships to be formed with local providers and organisations.
