Sunday roast raffle

5 February 2020
News

Recently, a family-run pub in Presteigne held a ‘Sunday meat raffle’ in the name of MacIntyre, raising money for our upcoming project the ‘Shropshire Hub’.

The Royal Oak Presteigne run by The Gorman Family for the past seven years, has been raising money selling tickets to win a joint of meat, perfect for a Sunday roast, since 2017. Since then, the family have generated over £16,000 for charities.

Raising over £160 for MacIntyre, the funds will go to supporting our upcoming project titled the ‘Shropshire Hub’, which is set to become a place for people with learning disabilities and the local community in the area to engage with others and take part in activities they enjoy.

We would like to thank Dale Gorman and his family for their support!
