In response to the coronavirus outbreak, we are launching temporary employment opportunities at MacIntyre.
To ensure we can continue providing support for people with learning disabilities and autism, we are looking to talk to people who are warm, friendly, and willing to learn, but find themselves experiencing layoffs or unemployment during the crisis.
We can offer contracts that are flexible, for two or three months where you will join one of our friendly teams, supporting people to keep up with their hobbies and interests, helping them stay engaged and cheerful.
The people we support have different needs; some are quite independent, others need more assistance, sometimes with personal care.
You might find yourself supporting someone to cook their meals, or teaching someone the steps to make a cup of tea. Or perhaps you'll be dancing around the room to someone's favourite Abba songs!
You don't need experience to join us, we will teach you everything you need to know.
