On Sunday 9 September, Karen Lower crossed the finish line of the Great North Run, raising a fantastic total of £378 for MacIntyre.
The Great North Run is an annual half marathon, which spans 13.1 miles across Newcastle to South Shields. It is currently the largest half marathon in the UK.
Earlier in the year, the Rotary Club of Wolverton & Stony Stratford pledged to raise £20,000 to fund a brand new kitchen for MacIntyre’s Coffee Shop in Stony Stratford and Karen’s inspiring total will support this project.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank Karen for supporting MacIntyre. Every penny raised really does help people we support to live a life that makes sense to them.
