Job opportunities at MacIntyre

At MacIntyre, we have opportunities around the country working with adults in social care, or children and young people in educational roles.

You can always find out current vacancies here, or simply [javascript protected email address] for more information.

In most cases you won't need experience, just warmth and a willingness to learn.

But why should you choose MacIntyre?

We asked our staff what they value most about working at MacIntyre. This is what they said:

  • The people we support. Watching them grow and blossom and knowing you’ve played a part in that progress. Being able to spend quality time and really engage with people we support in a relaxed way, not just ticking off a list of tasks.
  • Our culture. The way in which we recognise and celebrate everyone’s achievements in many ways, big and small, working collaboratively and sparking ideas from each other.
  • The variety: no two days are the same. One person nailed it by saying that every day is different and every day is important.
  • Great relationships. Whether that’s with colleagues, people we support, or their families. Shared experiences are the glue that holds us together and allow us to forge lifetime friendships.
  • Learning new skills. This includes everything from our extensive formal induction and training programme and the opportunity to gain qualifications, to work shadowing, mentoring and coaching. The chance to learn never stops.
  • Encouragement to be creative and innovative. No need to be afraid to try new things, it’s positively encouraged, and if one approach doesn’t work out, we learn and try something different next time.
  • The support provided to frontline staff by senior leaders and managers, and specialist teams such as HR, Recruitment, Learning and Development.
  • Walking the talk. There’s a sense that people at every level are authentic and display real dedication to their work.
  • Teamwork. There’s a great network of teams around the organisation who share their expertise and experiences by way of special interest groups, so everyone has the opportunity to be connected, and share knowledge and expertise.
  • Being part of something exceptional. MacIntyre’s ambition for the people we support, our advocacy, our resilience and the way we encourage everyone to dream big, whether that’s for staff or the people we support.

And as one person put it “The more you put in, the more you get out.”

So if your New Year's Resolution is to get a new job, why not choose us?
