In our Registered Care homes in Leicester we support adults with a learning disability and more complex needs to take part in meaningful activities that promote wellbeing and learning in many forms. Whether it’s attending music concerts at the Attenborough Arts Centre, going to museums or getting active at the local trampolining park, our staff ensure each person we support is encouraged to learn new skills and try new experiences.
In Supported Living our top priority is ensuring people with a learning disability are supported to live their lives as independently as possible. Most recently, our staff team have supported two young men to transition out of their family homes into independent living.
We are so proud of how he has taken the whole experience into his stride, with the help of MacIntyre staff and how both young men have slotted into their new way of life.
