Billy is a Watford FC super fan and he got a chance to volunteer at the club’s ‘Taylor Trek’ fundraising event in memory of the late Graham Taylor.
Billy, Afo and myself went along to help cheer the participants pass the finish line. We all enjoyed being in Billy’s beloved Stadium. For him, it brought back memories of when he used to go to see the home matches when he was younger. We also had great fun cheering, high fiving and congratulating people as they received their medals!
We met so many wonderful people including the legendary WFC player Luther Blisset and also Graham’s family. They were all so grateful for our help to create a celebratory atmosphere.
All money raised by the Trek goes towards the Watford FC Community Foundation and the local Hospice, Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
