We were delighted that the MacIntyre Golf Day was able to return on 1 September. 32 teams joined the event for a day of good golf, on-course catering and challenges, dinner, a live auction and an after-dinner speaker.
Over £40,000 was raised for one of MacIntyre’s houses in Westoning where we support six adults whose physical needs have changed over the years. The funds will be used to build an extension which will include a large family room and the installation of a wet room.
Our winning team said:
"It was a total surprise right up to when it was announced for second place as they were on our table. I wish I had more time to make a better speech! We thought we had no chance of winning.
The pastries and cakes on the course were delicious and kept us going! A brilliant day, really well organised!"
