Launch of the Chesterfield Memory Café

4 October 2018
News

On Friday 28 September, MacIntyre’s Memory Café in Chesterfield opened its doors for the first time. Organised by David Stiley and Michelle Wilkinson, the Memory Café was held in the Resource Community Centre in Chesterfield.

Over 25 people attended the opening; enjoying coffee, an assortment of delicious cakes and the conversations that followed. Each table also took part in a game of bingo, which resulted in excitement as each winner was revealed.

The MacIntyre Memory Cafés are open to everyone; people living with dementia, those caring for someone that is, friends, families, and those that are just curious to find out more.

There is no need to book your place – just turn up and enjoy the company.

Couldn’t make it to the launch? The next dates are:

  • Friday 26 October 2018
  • Friday 30 November 2018
  • Friday 14 December 2018
