Stony Coffee Shop re-opens

22 March 2019
News

Our Stony Stratford Coffee Shop re-opened its doors to the public this week, revealing a brand new look. Following a year of fantastic fundraising, The Wolverton and Stony Rotary Club managed to raise over £14,000 which has resulted in a total refurbishment for the shop.

The makeover is complete with a new kitchen, windows and thanks to an additional cheque presented by The Wolverton and Stony Rotary Club of £1,800, an accessible till. The accessible till will provide further training support for staff and people supported.

Since launching over 18 years ago, the coffee shop has become a landmark in the Stony Stratford High Street. Not only does the shop offer a selection of hot beverages and homemade bakes, but it also provides support for 25 people with learning disabilities, where a range of skills can be developed.

The team are thrilled by the new look and are excited to welcome customers back, after closing for several weeks whilst the refurbishment took place.
