Last week we welcomed James Mackie from the Casey Commission team to the Sui-Ling Show.
James talks about the role of the Casey Commission – a review of adult social care commissioned by the Prime Minister. James explains that the review is being led by Baroness Louise Casey who has a reputation for leaving no stone unturned and has a wonderful track record of making things happen.
One of the questions Sui-Ling asked James was “What would you want us to be saying about the Casey Commission review in 5 years’ time?” James responded that he’d like people to say ‘they finally cracked it, they did it, their recommendations worked.’
When not working, James enjoys taking his dog Rufus for a walk, sometimes to the pub to watch his favourite football team - Charlton Athletic.
