Every day across MacIntyre, colleagues are quietly going above and beyond, all with the purpose of supporting people to live the lives they choose. Our Employees of the Month are a snapshot of that wider story: different roles, different settings, but the same commitment to making a real difference. This month, we’re proud to recognise these four colleagues:
Hayley Ellis – Knowsley Road, The Wirral (Adult Social Care)
Hayley is our true busy bee, constantly on the move and always giving her all. From supporting people to go swimming, to running essential errands, preparing meals, and heading back out to activities, her energy never dips. She goes above and beyond every day, helping people live full and active lives.
This month has been no exception. Hayley’s reliability, drive and commitment shine through in everything she does. She brings positivity and momentum to the whole team, and her dedication makes a genuine difference. We’re incredibly proud to recognise Hayley as our Employee of the Month.
Nilushi De Cruze – MacIntyre School (Children and Young People)
Nilushi has made a powerful impact supporting a new group of students, bringing calm, consistency and care to the class environment. She has a natural ability to connect with autistic and neurodivergent students, striking that rare balance of being both firm and gentle so they feel safe and able to thrive.
Beyond her work with students, Nilushi has also lifted the morale of colleagues during challenging moments. Her positivity, adaptability and quiet leadership have strengthened the whole team. We’re hugely grateful for her compassion, professionalism and commitment.
Aleksandra Grzelak – East Midlands (No Limits)
Aleksandra has built strong, trusting relationships with learners who face challenges. She approaches each person with patience, resilience and an open mind, always finding ways to engage them on their terms.
Her determination to explore what works for each learner has led to some fantastic progress and achievements. Aleksandra’s thoughtful, person-centred approach is making a real and lasting difference, and we’re delighted to recognise her contribution this month.
Andrea Griffiths – Wrexham (Support Services)
Andrea has gone above and beyond during an exceptionally busy month, supporting the team through two detailed external audits. Her organisation, focus and attention to detail ensured everything was prepared to a high standard, helping the process run smoothly.
What stands out just as much is her calm, steady presence under pressure. Andrea brings reassurance to those around her and shows unwavering commitment to both the team and the people we support. She has been invaluable, and this recognition is richly deserved.
Congratulations everyone!
