MacIntyre School is a truly special place, providing excellent education and care for children and young people aged between 10 and 19.
In Buckinghamshire we offer support for children, young people and adults in Aylesbury, Flackwell Heath, Milton Keynes, Wingrave and the surrounding areas.

MacIntyre offers a range of accommodation and support options for 16 adults aged 19 or over with learning disabilities and/or autistic people in Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. We spend time getting to know people’s ambitions and aspirations and ensure everyone has choice and control over their lives.
Across Buckinghamshire MacIntyre is rated Good with the Care Quality Commission.
We put people at the heart of everything we do. MacIntyre invests in, and helps shape, the areas in which people live, to be inclusive and welcoming spaces for everyone.
Our Lifelong Learning hubs in Milton Keynes offer a range of activities during the week. MacIntyre supports around 120 people across our three hubs in Beanhill, Great Holm and Neath Hill
The MacIntyre Coffee Shop at Great Holm in Milton Keynes provides excellent work experience including a wide range of skills from customer service to food hygiene.
MacIntyre Catering, based from our Great Holm Coffee Shop, provides a catering service to local people and businesses.
MacIntyre No Limits™ provide inclusive and flexible education programmes for young people aged 16-25 in Buckinghamshire.
We offer two models:
Across Buckinghamshire, we support over 80 young people in Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and Flackwell Heath. We are opening, and accepting referrals for, our new Alternative Provision site in Loudwater in September 2026, which is a local authority approved alternative to mainstream education.
MacIntyre School in Wingrave near Aylesbury is a specialist school offering places for up to 40 day and residential students.
MacIntyre School and Children’s Homes offer highly personalised education and care for up to 40 children and young people with severe learning disabilities and/or autism and other needs. We believe that potential is limitless and that every young person can and will ‘Achieve Above and Beyond’.
Our purpose-built School and registered children’s homes are rated Good by Ofsted and offers a waking day curriculum. The separate section on our website provides full details about the education and residential facilities.
